Which Drip Irrigation System Is Better?

Jan 07, 2022

There are two types of drip irrigation systems, one is a fixed drip irrigation system, and the other is a mobile drip irrigation system.

It is recommended to use a fixed drip irrigation system for facility cultivation; a mobile drip system can be used for open field cultivation.

The drip irrigation system generally consists of a head hub, pipelines and drippers.

1. The first hub: including water pump (and power machine), fertilization tank, filter, control and measuring instrument, etc. Its function is to pump water, fertilize, filter, and send a certain amount of water into the main pipe with a certain pressure.

2. Pipelines: including main pipes, branch pipes, capillary pipes and necessary adjustment equipment (such as pressure gauges, gate valves, flow regulators, etc.). Its role is to deliver pressurized water evenly to the dripper.

3. Dripper: Its function is to make the water flow through the tiny pores, form energy loss, reduce its pressure, and make it drip into the soil in a drop-by-drop manner. Drippers are usually placed on the soil surface and can also be buried shallowly for protection.
